Rio Beach hit the mark when they crafted this beach umbrella. It provides 100% UV protection. It has adjustable height. It has adjustable tilt.
We have owned several beach umbrellas. I can tell you the Rio Beach Umbrella is the best so far. The umbrella printed material is fade resistant and is backed by a thick vinyl material that really blocks the sunrays--provided you stay under its shade.
The umbrella prop is approximately a 1 1/2" in diameter. This makes it stronger to hold up to those beachy breezes. It also provides better hold from the clamp when you adjust the height.
The umbrella spines also seem stouter than our previous models. However they do flex to accommodate for slight wind. Understand though, no beach umbrella can withstand gale force winds.
The best feature of the Rio Beach Umbrella is you can tilt it! This makes a day at the beach more fun as you don't have to constantly move and replant your umbrella when the sun decides to move. You just tilt it and spin it where you want it.
My only regret with this umbrella is we should have bought the next size up in diameter. This 6-foot model is fine coverage for two adults and a small child. Just don't expect to move around too much because the rays will get you.

The tilting option makes it better than a lot of other umbrellas then you can block out the sun at whatever angle.
It's great that it protects from UV rays. Cute, too!
Need to keep the sun off and also use sunblock, good price too.
