I have always been a lover of hurricane lamps. When I seen this one it made my jaw drop and I could just see it in our bedroom. It was absolutely perfect. From top to bottom this stunning lamp is full of detail. With the glass frosted and hand painted roses and leaves and hanging crystals all the way around the "shade" right down to the very intricately detailed base that has a bronze tone to it. The base of this hurricane also is a night light and uses a 15 watt candelabra style bulb. The "main bulb" is recommended to be a 40 watt bulb. Another nice feature to this lamp is that it offers you the three-way switch feature. With measurements of 8" in diameter and 16 1/4" high I think I measures to be the perfect lamp and is a perfect addition to our bedroom.
