I purchased a Gateway P-6832 at NewEgg.com for 749.00 dollars after I found a promo code off another internet site. I have been very pleased with this lap top. 3g 250gb harddrive is very quick and lots of storage for photos and music. I dont game so this laptop is not what I was aiming for for that. Came with a intel 3100 graphics card as well as a 1.3 megapixel web cam built in. The 17" monitor is awesome great for watching dvd's and being able to have multiple open pages on the screen. The only con i have found is it is quite large and is not that easy to sit on your lap but having it set on a table near by is just as good. The Wireless feature is great given that you can move around and still manage to get a internet signal.
Well worth the money.

This sounds like a great laptop, i'm looking for something with the webcam attached so i can use it in bed. But i'm worried that it will slide out of my lap while using it. Do you know if rubber pants are too slippery to wear while using this?
I love Gatewway products. This laptop sounds perfect for home non-gaming use. It has all the room and features I want.
