This Martha Stewart Patio Set Has It All By RoseHill on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
Absolutely love it. It looks great and has withstood the test of time. The set consists of a slightly tinted etched glass top table and five chairs, including cushions. Except for a change in the color of the cushions the set is still available - unchanged - after nine years. Definitely a winner. Yes, five chairs not four make up the set - can you say good deal. The table at 60 inches round is plenty big and you cannot beat the chairs for comfort whether you are a big or small person. I find I can add two more chairs around the table without being crowded. Everyone comments on the beautiful leaf etching in the glass top.
As far as drawbacks, the table top has a hole for the umbrella, protected by a rubber ring which we lost after two summers, (we actually had the set sitting outside unprotected for two years - now it lives in my gazebo) but found that replacement rings are available for pennies at the hardware store. The table top also came with a Lazy Susan turntable which I loved, especially since it is removable. The iron scroll work of the chairs held up well, but if you leave it out in the elements it will rust. The seats have strapping which went limp and broke on two chairs after about six years of daily use. No problem, the local patio furniture store re-straps. The seat cushions were superior quality, plump and the fabric held up in the relentless Florida sun, but I wanted a change after 6 years:)
Living in Florida my patio furniture has to be not just beautiful, but also durable - we use it practically daily and this set has surprised me. It survived two hurricanes, the seasonal football parties, a slew of garden parties and it is still looking good. All in all, one of the best buys I ever made.

I always wondered how good Martha Stewarts patio sets were. This sounds like a nice one.
This sounds very nice. I think I would like the etched leaf patterns. I know your garden is beautiful from your pix on Gather.
Wow, this sounds like wonderful patio furniture.
We were very well satisfied with our set of patio furniture until today. For no apparent reason our glass top table shattered into a million pieces. We have garage kept it in the winter and recently put it outside, it was not harmed in anyway. It literally exploded. Thank the Lord no one was near it!!! Now my hope is that none of the charred pieces are lying in my pool and damaging a very expensive liner.
