I have just finished reading these two books. I place them two together because you need to read the two together. They follow each other and follow the same storyline. The storyline is about the battle between angels and demons. It shows the power prayer has as part of the battle. Just like monster it isn't too preachy, and has characters that you can relate too. I found myself picking certain angels that I liked over the others and even some demons that I liked better than others.

Peretti has great descriptions and everything he described as the demons are the same as what I had in mind when I though about demons and what they looked like or even smelled like. These two books are wonderfu, I couldn't put them both down I think I finished them both within two weeks while it normally takes me about two weeks to read just one novel.

The author has a writing style that matches no other, he just captures your attention and holds it throughout the whole story. THe covers of the books are very appealing as well. They just make you wonder what the book could be about.

My next order has arrived. It's time to enter the world of Frank Peretti once more. The Visitation; I wonder who visits ;)
