This Remote is too much work!
By Christi239 onSince I am a Dish Network subscriber, I have their remote control to go with my satellite.I have Tivo in the bedroom and if I could use their remote on the living room tv, I was do so!
This remote has terrible signal strength.If I am sitting to the left or right of the television, I have to lean forward and get a straight shot to the remote eye on the box.It's really inconvenient.
The buttons along the top of the remote, used to switch between television, satellite, etc are really small.I have small fingers and I even have difficulty pushing them and getting them lit up.Sometimes I work for a full thirty seconds switching the remote to TV function just to turn it off.I often get irritated and just get up and go turn it off manually.
The batteries have lasted a really long time in this remote, but that may be because I just don't like to use it and avoid it.
This sounds terrible. Thanks for the warning. You may save a lot of people those $20.
I hate complicated remotes, that is a big no no for me.
There's nothing better than a remote that fits in your hand like you were born with it. Unfortunately for you, this isn't the one. Thanks for the information.
Too bad it doesn't work better, at least the batteries have lasted for a long time!
