This Toy Makes Sounds And Scents By Mean_Queen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

With its bright colored tentacles and happy smiling face, this musical octopus appeals to babies. Our toy belonged to a friend, but my daughter refused to leave her house without it. Luckily, my friends daughter had outgrown it. The octopus has eight different tentacles that play a sound when squeezed. My daughter loves when I play music on it, though she has a hard time getting it to make sound. I think it may require a little more force than my 19 month old has. There is still plenty more for her to do with this toy. It has little knots around the neck that she likes to chew on. It also has a nice handle on top of its head so she can easily drag it around the house. I'm not sure if this is standard with the Octotunes being sold today, but this one has a vanilla scent that isn't strong but hasn't faded. It made our whole toy box smell nice when we put it away. Lamaze makes great baby toys and this one is no different. It's bright, cheery, and offers many play options. I think this is a good toy for fun and learning.
