My toddler loves Duplo blocks and Thomas the Train, so when we found this toy we thought it'd be perfect for her. Plus, it not only comes with Thomas the Train, it has the tracks and the train station set up. At 19 months old, my daughter is too young to build this herself so I did it. It was very easy to put together. The instructions included definitely helps because some of the items I never would have figured out on my own. I do wish they had instructions on how to do the tracks, because just snapping them together you end up with a circle and 4 extra pieces. I did eventually figure out how to get all the pieces to fit but instructions would have been nice. Now for the bad part, while it was easy to put together, it's also VERY easy for a toddler to destroy. My daughter ran Thomas around the track once then promptly tore every Lego apart, like she does with all the other Duplos. I think this is a great toy for any Thomas or Lego lover, but I think it's best to stick to the suggested minimum age of 2. I know I plan to pack this up for a few months and try again.
