Thomson Elite Seatpost By freesoma on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Thomson Elite Seatpost is one of the best bicycle seatposts on the market and has maintained a great reputation for years now. The material construction is excellent and the strength is bomb-proof. The black look is also very smooth and looks great on my flat black bicycle frame. Thomson also makes a silver model.

My favorite thing about the Thomson Elite is the adjustment system. Using two screws it is possible to micro-adjust the tilt of the bicycle saddle by the smallest amount of degree, perfect for anyone that is obsessed with having their saddle in the exact position that they want.

Yes, the Thomson Elite is a bit expensive at ~$80 retail, but the value of the seatpost will barely ever depreciate and the thing will last for a lifetime. This is the kind of product that one only buys once, unless you're like me and you need one on every single bike you own.
