Thr3e 2006 By Rancosto on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Thr3e is based on a novel by Ted Dekker, a popular Christian author. Kevin Parson (Marc Blucas), a seminary student, finds himself targeted by a stalker who demands that Kevin publicly confesses his sin. What sin? The stalker does not specify, and Kevin does not seem to know. Thus begins the deadly game of threats, traps, explosions, and more.

The movie is a well done thriller with a big surprise in the end. While the surprise is of the kind you don't see coming, I must say I was rather disappointed with it; to me, it was not very believable, and it turned the whole movie upside down in a way I did not particularly appreciate. I will not say more or it will spoil your viewing.

Being a Christian movie based on a Christian novel, the film is clean, there is no profanity or sex. The only possibly objectionable element is violence, and quite a lot of it, although not graphic. The camera does not savor all the blood and gore as it is often done in other movies. Still, I would not advise it for children.
