Three In One Crib By kateri27 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
When I found out I was pregnant for the first time I knew very little about cribs. I went on a mission to test as many cribs as I could think of at the usual big box baby stores. I did not find anything that was sturdy enough to meet my needs.
We went to Amish Originals because a friend recommended a custom made crib. The price was a little steeper then we wanted to pay, but the quality far surpassed anything else we had seen.
The crib is made of solid oak. It has wide slats that baby can not go through. You can choose the color stain you would like for the crib or have it painted white (which is an extra $100 so we went with a dark redwood stain).
The level of the mattress is easily adjusted. The crib takes a standard size mattress for baby.
Once your child outgrows the crib it can be converted to a toddler bed (with a kit that costs $75) and from their it can be converted to a double bed.
Amish Original 3 in 1 Crib Purchased at: Amish Originals Price: 599.00

I love amish furniture, this sounds beautiful.
I really wanted one of these, but my mother-in-law ended up getting us a Simplicity one from a yard sale instead. The best thing about Amish furniture is that they don't have product recalls due to shoddy pieces =P
great crib.. very functional.. best choice..
This crib can be converted into a DOUBLE BED??!! That is amazing!!! Plus it looks like one heck of a piece of furniture!
I love the craftmanship of Amish furniture-this is so beautiful!
Wow! Talk about a great purchase. I think for as many different ways this crib converts it was worth a higher price. It's beautiful.
