Thumbs Down To Joy Dishwashing Detergent By Gail Ikerd on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Have you ever strayed from your usual brand of cleaning supplies. I have always been a Palmolive Dish Soap user but when I went to the store to buy dish soap there was no Palmolive on the shelf - the store needed to restock so I decided to try Joy. All I can say is that I don't like it at all. It doesn't make suds as the bottle says and I need to use twice as much as I do of my Palmolive. It cleans all right but it does seem to take a little more elbow grease to get the job done.

Needless to say the next t ime I am in need of dish soap I will not buy any more Joy and I will be sure to buy several bottles of Palmolive so that I don't run out and need to buy a brand that I don't like. Bottom line is that Joy costs twice as much as Palmolive since you have to use twice as much so even if it is on sale Joy is no bargin. I have learned my lesson.
