I've had the TI-30Xa Texas Instruments calculator since college...and that's been quite some time. I purchased this calculator, because I signed up for a Statistics class. I was really worried about taking Statistics. It was my first class in it and I hated math...period. This calculator was my Statistics friend and helped me get through the class. I remember my first exam in Statistics, I actually had heart palpatations. I wanted to just run out of the class or worse yet felt like a heart attack was coming on. It was that bad. It started out bad but I grew to love Statistics. I found myself absorbed in it. It was like something I needed to conquer. We were given alot of homework. This calculator helped me figure out most of my homework problems.It is a scientific calculator. It also comes in solar. It displays formats of Fix to n=...9places-floating decimals-scientific notation-engineering notation. under math, it has :Powers-Constants-Roots-Reciprocals-Factorials-Percentages-Logs/Antilogs-Convert to DD-Show as DMS. Memory has : Store-Recall-Sum-Exchange. It has trigonometry,hyperbolic functions,statistics,probability and fractions. Texas Instruments is my favorite brand of calculator. The TI-30Xa and I received an A in Statistics!
