Ti 89 Graphing Calculator By Patrick on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This calculator is a good bit on the expensive side, but for anyone going through calculus and higher math in high school and college it is definitely a wise investment. The TI-89 is basically a souped up version of the TI-83 and 86, and it can do almost anything you can imagine. Aside from basic calculatory functions, you can also do trigonometry, graphing, exponentials, and all kinds of graphing. What really sets this calculator apart from the earlier models is that you can actually do derivatives and integrations on the calculator. All the features and advantages of this calculator are also its only downfall, because I doubt I know how to use half of the capabilities of this calculator, so a simpler version would probably do me just as well. Even for its complications, it is pretty easy to use the simpler functions and has definitely been a huge help in class.
