This calculator has served me extremely well through all my high school and my college life. It has so many functions and it's just so amazing it can do everything. Many tests become a cinch because of how powerful the TI-89 Titanium is. This graphing caculator can do everything from derivatives to integrals (and probably so much more I just haven't learned it yet). The battery life is pretty good if all you are using it for is for math. One added bonus on the Titanium version that you won't find on the regular version is the usb feature. It can connect to your computer. This way, you can download additional programs and games to your calculator. I spend many hours in math playing tetris. But beware, this can shorten the battery life significantly.

It's good that you told us some of this calculators features (and games? who knew!) but it would have been great to hear about a few more of the functions it can perform. For $150 it better be good enough for grad school level!
My son used this in high school. It was very reliable for him.
This is one of the recommended graphing calculators for high school and college level higher maths. They even offer downloadable tutorials in key function math problems to assist students.
Wow-calculators have come a long way!! I didn't realize that they can be plugged into computers!!!!
The usb connection is a great feature! Not I do any advanced math, but that is too cool that you can plug it into the computer and get addtional programs!
Oh my gosh! Don't talk math, it makes my head spin lol. I have flashbacks of college. This is expensive! I should have gotten one of these during my statistics class but I was too cheap. I stuck with the less expensive Texas instruments calculators.
I never knew there was a calculators you could hook up to the computer, thanks for the info.
