Tickling Is Suppose To Be Fun, Not Scary By godfrey884 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Who don't have Elmo fans in there home, I know I have 2 of them and probably soon to be 3.

My oldest daughter(then 2) got this last year for Christmas, I totally went crazy trying to find this for her since Elmo was her favorite character, and everything was all about Elmo.

Tmx Elmo has 3 tickle spots, for ages 18 months to 5 yrs, he laughs hysterically when you touch one of the spots, he will slap his leg, then falls to the sitting position, rocks , lays down, then gets back up onto his feet again all while laughing, then asks you to tickle him again and he lays down and stomps his feet on the floor. After you have been through all this tickle stop he ends with a sigh.

That all sounds fun and cute, you would think anyhow, both my girls were scared of this Elmo toy, Neither of them would touch him and if anyone did tickle him they would run to another room.

TMX Elmo uses 6 AA batteries (OUCH), He is far from being a soft toy, he has no stuffing over the machine, not squeezable or huggable, not one of Fisher price's best toys.

It is sad that they would create a toy that would scare children. Thanks for sharing this and possibally saving other children from being scared of a toy, and parents from wasting their money.
