I purchased my Timberland boots at the outlets when on sale and have continued to be impressed by their quality. I have owned 3 pairs in the last 8 years. They are very durable boots to say the least. The waterproof feature is great especially in the northeast where we deal with snow and ice. I wear these while shoveling snow and chipping ice and my feet stay warm and dry. I have even had a few larger pieces of ice fall onto my foot and have not felt anything through these boots. They are heavily constructed from a strong nubuck material which provides a good deal of warmth and stability. Their tread is robust and grips even in the slippier conditions. Their durability is incredible. I have never before had boots that could go through so much and keep going. The only drawback of these boots is after a few years of wear, the inside area around the heel starts to peel away and that is when you know you need a new pair.
