Mem Fox's "Time for Bed" is one of our favorite bedtime stories. I have been reading this sweet board book to my son since he was a newborn. It's a beautiful rhyming book that shows different animals putting their babies to bed and ends with a mother telling her little one good night. The words have a soft rhythm to lull baby to sleep e.g. "It's time for bed little mouse, little mouse. Darkness is falling all over the house."
Now that my son is older, he loves to look at the illustrations of the sleepy baby animals getting ready for bed. He is learning the names of the different animals and the sounds they make as we read this together book each night. This is a wonderful book to read over and over again.

Good book for little children bedtimes reading. Good book like this are really good for bond binding with our children.
