Time For Serious Welding By Nate on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I did a review on a small 110V mig/flux core welder, so I figured I would do one on a big boy. We have this Miller/Bobcat at work and it gets used a good bit. With an effective welding range from 40-250amps you can jump on some big jobs with this one. In addition to the finely selectable amperage range this machine is also equipped with a selector switch for polarity which is nice, you don't have to move and wires or cables, just turn the switch to the selected polarity, also on this selector is the ac/dc. This machine truly provides one of the widest ranges of capability, and on top of all of it's welding ability this is also a 10,000 Watt generator. With front mounted 110V and 220V plugs with built in circuit breakers, what more could you ask for? We can take this machine anywhere (we built a trailers for it) and even if its far away from the plant we can still weld, grind, or do anything else we need to do. This truly is a complete package if you are working in a non constant environment.
