Timex..More Than a Clock!
By karlawmcdonald onWhile with my nephew this past weekend, he graduated boot camp for the Navy and he had to move into his dorm. In doing so he had to make a lot of purchases, one being an alarm clock and radio, he found both in one.
He got this one which not only is an AM/FM radio, but also an alarm clock which also has battery back up. This one require 3 "AA" batteries. You can select the buzzer or wake to the radio. It has a large snooze bar and an MP holder! You can connect a MP player or CD player.
It has a huge LCD screen, and that is a good thing for someone who is just waking up.
It is black and silver in color so it blends in well with any decor, especially a 21 year old guy who is in the Navy. ;)
I like the fact he chose a Timex product, we have always had really good luck with anything we have from them.
The sound quality is great and the buzzer or radio alarm you can set your own volume. All around this is a great choice!
He's so good looking Karla! Coming from a Navy family I feel a real kinship with him:) The Timex clock is perfect for him. We've had several througfh the years and loved them for their simple usefulness.
What I know is that Timex products are reliable.
A nice clock for us older eyes and ears.
