Tinkerbell the movie is coming out later this month on DVD, but there was a special engagement that ran here in LA at the Disney owned El Capitan Theatre. I think it just showed in LA. I don't think it is hitting theatres everywhere. The movie is spectacular. Great kids film, but also very entertaining for the older Tinkerbell fans. She has attitude, gets into a bit of trouble and it is funny. The new fairies in the movie are beautiful.

The part that really surprised me was how much the music in the film stuck with my 5 year old daughter. We bought the CD right there in the theatre. The cover has sparkly glitter and is nicely done. She plays it every morning as she gets ready for school and dances around her bedroom. It has a world music feel with beautiful vocals. Katherine McPhee (American Idol) and Selena Gomez (Disney Channel) has songs on the CD. Very impressed.
