Tinkerbell Tree Topper

We bought this Tinkerbell Christmas tree topper from disneystore.com three years ago. I waited for her to be on sale, as they are normally around $30, but during the online sale, we got her for $16.99.

I prefer an angel on my tree, but my husband loves Tinkerbell - yes, my husband. So, I consented and also because all of my angel toppers have failed to light over the past years and now adorn my house all year long - lightless.

This Tinkerbell tree topper has a beautiful red glitter outfit with a white glitter skirt trim at the bottom. Her shoes are red glitter with white glitter puffs on top. She is holding a gold wand in her right hand. There is also a white glitter head band around the bun on her head.

Her wings are made of fiber optic material and change from blue, purple, yellow, red and pretty much every color in between - just like a rainbow.

The glitter does not come off like other Christmas ornaments do. She is just under 12 inches tall and comes with her own plug that easily plugs into our Christmas tree lights at the top of the tree.

This year, disneystore.com has a similar Tinkerbell, but she is wearing green glitter, her wings are more open and shaped differently and her wand is in her left hand.

Tinkerbell is made of a resin and unlike other Christmas tree toppers, she has never fallen off and is not too heavy for the top of the tree.

She really is a beautiful tree topper and will remain there every year until her fiber optics fail to work. But I am sure that will not be an issue for many more years. Very well made and we're please with her.

I am considering purchasing the green Tinkerbell this year since she's on sale now too. You really can never have enough Tinkerbell or Disney stuff for Christmas.
