Tinted Moisterizer Or Liquid Foundation? By melissame on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I didn't actually buy this product -- I got a free sample from Sephora on my last purchase.

I definitely will not be purchasing this!

I'm sure it's probably a good product for some but for me -- no dice. I have VERY oily skin and enlarged pores on top of that. The 'illuminating' effect was definitely there but who wants a spotlight shining on their already large pores?? Definitely not me. :P

Another thing I didn't like about this product was the texture. It reminded me of my liquid foundation days (I am a mineral makeup girl now). Needless to say: YUK. It just felt so much heavier than I would expect a moisturizer to feel. I remember using tinted moisterizers when I was younger (and oh-so-beauty dumb) and they were never heavy like this stuff. This tinted moisterizer should be called a foundation, in my opinion.

I'll give the rest of the sample to my sister, who has combination skin that is less problematic, and see what she thinks.
