I love Giant Tiger!

The other day I stopped in at Giant Tiger to pick up some wrapping paper and candies to add to my gifts. While I was browsing all the cutesy things in the Christmas section my eye fell on this serving set and I knew immediately that I had to have it. This set comes with two plates and an iron rod that all fit together to create a one-piece, two-tiered serving set for cookies, squares, and all sorts of Christmas goodies. It comes in three different snowman designs. Obviously, the one pictured below was my favourite.

It was very easy to put together. The iron rod comes in two pieces. You feed the bottom piece up through the hole in the bottom plate, and you slip the top piece down through the hole in the top plate. The two rods screw together in the middle. No tools are needed, you just have to tighten it together with your hands. It comes apart in the same way for washing and storing. The two plates can be put in the dishwasher, and the rod can simply be wiped with a damp cloth.

I think it's adorable! The snowman design is very wintery and cheery, and I really like the two-tiered design. It looks attractive, saves room on the table, and could even function as the centerpiece on a table full of snacks at a party or family gathering.

For $5.99 I think it was a good buy, and can't wait to put it to good use over the holidays.
