My husband surprised me by buying this toothpaste instead of Colgate we usually use. I've been using it now for about 3 weeks and very impressed by the brand.

It does not bubble and foam as much as some of the other brands but after using this toothpaste your whole mouth feels clean. And it stays feeling clean through the day. Some reviewers said they do not like the taste of spearmint or the aftertaste you get from this toothpaste but to me the aftertaste just feels clean and I'm not afraid to smile!

You get fluoride for cavity prevention, zinc citrate to control tartar, silica for whitening and spearmint and peppermint oils for fresh, clean feeling mouth.

Great things about this toothpaste is that it claims to do all the same things as many animal tested and not so natural brands out there. With Tom's of Maine you only get natural ingredients and you know you are supporting American company. No animal testing either so what is not to like!

My 11-year-old son also uses this toothpaste and he told me that it is okay. Trust me, he would tell me if he does not like it!

Tube is 5.2 oz sized, i was readiing one reviewer complaining that it breaks easily but so far we have not had any problems. Someone also wrote that paste is too loose but if my 11-year-old can use it without a problem I don't think it is.

There is other flavors available if you do not like spearmint like cinnamon and peppermint so next time you buy toothpaste why not think little greener and give this product a try! I'm glad my husband did!
