Too Expensive For What You Get! By cjandevansmom on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My sons received this as a gift recently. They couldn't wait to start playing with it. As soon as I opened the package I was shocked by the quality of the product. The parts that snapped together don't stay together and every time you attempt to move the assembled toy it falls apart. The background scenes were cardboard pieces that stuck on with two-sided tape. I couldn't get them to stay on at all and ended up just throwing them away. Another friend recently bought this for her son as well and her experience with it was the same. My sons, however, do enjoy playing with it as they love anything Pokemon! I feel that this would have been much more appropriately priced around the $20 mark. When I spend $50 on a toy I expect so much more....or at least for the thing to stay together long enough for me to finish assembling it. Save your money. Have your kids make their own attack dome out of a cardboard box.
Pokemon Attack Dome Purchased at: Walmart Price: $48.96

You are right on about making it! And I bet they would play with that just as much and really appreciate the fun they had creating their own!
How disappointing for you to have spent that much money and got a stinker of a product. Back to the cardboard box! Kids always seem to play with boxes more than toys anyways! Thanks for the warning about this overpriced toy.
It's a shame that a product that costs $50.00 isn't of better quality. It's so disappointing when you buy something and it doesn't work as expected!
Thanks for the honest information. This will keep me away from this toy. Things should las long enough for the kids to get some enjoyment out of them.
