Top Fin Algae Thins Fish Food By MelanieS on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

The Top Fin algae wafers fish food is designed to be used by bottom feeding fish such as cory catfish and plecostomus. I have both in my fish tank and therefore feed about four to five of these algae wafers per day.

These algae wafers come in a convenient, resealable foil bag with a pleated bottom so the bag stand upright on the shelf. It is sturdy and resists moisture. The algae wafers themselves are approximately a half inch in diameter and are made algae, fish meal, and many other ingredients. The fish love them.

When dropped in the fish tank, the algae wafers fall right to the bottom where the bottom dwelling fish cruise. The fish find them easily. They must smell good to them. The algae wafers soften to a green mush very quickly. The large pleco in my tank sucks them up easily. I would recommend the Top Fin algae wafer fish food to anyone with algae eating fish in their aquarium.
