I recently had to purchase a new harness for one of my dachshunds. At the same time, I purchased a matching leash to go with the harness. It is made by Top Paw, one of Petsmart's brands, and seems to be a durable leash for walking my dog. Its measurements are 5/8" by 4 feet, which is long enough to allow me to walk her comfortably without letting her get too far ahead.

The leash is made out of a glittery material which matches the harness I also bought. It has a loop at one end that you can loop around your hand, and a strong metal clasp at the other end that latches onto the harness. I have found it comfortable to hold onto, and I'm hoping to get good service out of it, as I have with other Top Paw products purchased from Petsmart.

The leash comes in different colors to match the harnesses that go along with it. Or you can purchase the leash by itself if you want. It really doesn't matter to me if the material is more glitzy or not, though it is a nice change from the usual mundane, drab-colored leashes that are out there. The reason I purchased it is because it matches the harness, which was the only one I could find to fit my dog properly.

It does have a nice look and seems to be durable. That's what matters most to me.
