My lawnmower was not working properly this Spring, so I had to get a new one to replace it. I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that the Toro 20066 would best fit my needs. I waited for a sale at Home Depot to make the purchase.
This mower has a 22 inch deck, self propelled and rear wheel drive. It can mulch, shoot out the side or you can bag the clippings. The engine does not require choking, which is really nice. There is also a port to hook up a hose to mower to clean it, which should ocme in handy.
The main draw of this mower is the personal pace function. The handle is configured so that it automatically moves at the speed you are walking. I was amazed at how fast I could go with it. It really is a nice function and it should decrease my mow time.
The engine started up on the very first pull out of the box and so far I have been impressed with the mower. I know Toro has a good reputation for lawn products and it comes with a two year full warranty. I would highly recommend this mower if you are looking for a mid level mower, that still is a quality product.

Toto does make good mowers. My next one will be a Toro because of their features, sturdiness and ease of use. I'll simply wait until a good end of season sale comes along and pick one up.
They also make Lawn Boy ... it has the same great self-propelled feature. Unbeliveably wonderful. I don't even think about it.
It's nice to hear a good mower story, simply because we hate ours so much! (A different brand, of course!)
Love the personal pace function! I often think to myself...geez can't this mower go any faster? This would be perfect as I would also like to decrease my mowing time!

Boy, I sure would have liked the personal pace function back when we had a walk-behind. Too much to mow now for that luxury. Have a rider.
Toro has offered quite good product. Its good it work well and impressive too
