Toshiba 50 Inch Hd Projection Tv By Jonathan Sawhook on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I highly recommend this TV. The picture is superb, both with a DISH satellite receiver and with a DVD player. The sound quality is as good as I've heard from internal speakers; I am using it as a center channel for my home theater and am quite satisfied. This TV is very compact and looks good. The glare and center channel input keep it from getting a 5 star rating. High Points
* Great picture (line doubler works very well)
* Good sound quality
* Great remote/menu system
Minor Gripes
* Glare can be somewhat distracting. The more expensive "HX" line from Toshiba has a screen coating to supposedly help. Also, I've read the screen protector can be placed behind the screen to eliminate glare.
* TV can be used as center channel speaker only from line-level inputs, not speaker level inputs.
Overall, one heck of a TV.

Except for the glare issue it sounds like this one is a great buy. I hope you enjoy your television for many years!
All but the glare I think this sounds great, thanks for sharing.
