I got a toshiba laptop for christmas and I was so excited for it. The battery lifespan was really good for the first couple months but I noticed that it started dying a lot faster then it usually did. So I would put it on the charger more and would take it off for a little bit and then it would be dying after 30 minutes. You can imagine how frustrating it is to have to be hooked up to the wall constantly, I mean thats why I got wireless internet so I didn't have to be. Well finally I talked to my mom and was asking her to send it back when I found out what the reasoning to why it was dying so fast. You need to let it die at least once a week and charge it until it is fully charged and take it off the charger. The more you charge it your battery will remember how much it charged the last couple times and only charge that much. So the battery worked perfectly fine I just ruined it. So make sure you don't do what I do and you will be fine.
