Toshiba Laptop By Josh Parry By Josh Parry on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I purchased this laptop when my old Acer laptop broke.
At first, I was worried it would be of bad quality because of the low price, but I needn't have worried. The laptop feels very sturdy, is fast, comes with a variety of free software such as DVD Software. It also has Windows Vista Premium, at first, I didn't like this operating system because I am used the traditional XP, but over time I got more and more used to it, and have grown to love it! The laptop has good specs (Taken from the PC world site;)
Intel Celeron M 530 Processor
1.73 GHZ. 533 MHz FSB, 1 MB Cache
1gb Memory
120gb Hard Drive
15.4" Display
DVD super-multi Layer Drive
Intel GMA X3100 Graphic Card
Wireless Enabled
Inky Blue Colour
The wireless button is a little hard to find, but this has turned into a bonus, as I cannot knock it into the off position by accident.
Overall, I would vote this product a 8/10 and would reccomend it to anyone who is on a small budget and wants a first time laptop, for college or university. It would also be a great computer to travel with because of its sturdyness, and the toshiba brand carries a reputation for being extremely well made. I think this reputation is extremely justified and I would purchase from Toshiba again. The price is an added bonus too.
If I could change one thing about this laptop, it would be the operating system, but this is through personal preference. Vista home premium is more than adequate for the usual hom euser.
