Toshiba Lcd Tv By George Costanza on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This LCD television is a terrible purchase. Don't listen to people when they tell you there are no differences when buying a TV. Not only is this TV too small for a bedroom, it is extremely slow. Slow meaning, when you turn on the TV, it takes about 7 seconds to turn on and off, when flipping through channels, it takes 2 seconds, the backlight isn't strong which projects a picture that should not be considered high definition. With its 800:1 contrast ratio and its 5ms response time, this TV is NOT for gaming of any kind. And of course like any other TV, it has the V-Chip, an infrared remote control, channel labeling, closed captions, and different inputs such as: DVD, TV, Game, HDMI, and PC. The positive things about this TV is that there is a headphone jack in the back which can connect an extra set of speakers or headphones to the TV and a built-in DVD player which is DivX certified. It can play DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and VCD. Not recommended.
