Toshiba Satellite A-105

For the money I spent, I am more than pleased with this laptop computer.

While the price was around $900, by the time all the accessories, software and warranties were added, it was closer to $1300.No matter. This is a great little machine.

I have found the Toshiba brand to be wonderfully user friendly and very dependable.Recently I had to take the laptop in for repair when I aquired a bit of spyware.The tech said it all when he said, "Wow, nobody ever brings Toshiba's in here!"That was comforting!

While I won't go into all the features here, you'll no doubt research those as side by side comparisons, I will mention the features I especially like.

I love the 4 usb ports--two to the side and two to the rear.Very convenient!

I love the keyboard layout.Very easy to get around.

And I absolutley love the video and audio capabilities.I frequently grab my laptop and lock myself in my bedroom to watch a movie and am always pleased with the quality.

One last thing, the duo-processor is really what sold me on this computer.I frequently have multiple programs running at the same time.Often the programs are very graphic heavy.I very rarely experience any slow downs thanks to the duo processing capabilities.
