Toshiba Satellite A105-S2031

The Toshiba Satellite A105-S2031 is an average laptop designed for average tasks and average games.

The Intel 1.7 GHz Celeron M CPU runs at a rated 2.1GHz P4. The hard drive packs a not-whopping 60 GB. The memory is lacking for current usage at only 512 MB. The ATI 200M is not capabable of running Half-Life 2 at above 800x600, at medium settings. The battery lasts for a little over an hour, which is pretty bad.

The Toshiba programs that come with the laptop are either completely useless or essential. The Toshiba Power Saver is a nice program that automatically watches power consumption based on the source of power (AC or battery) or the use of the computer (Powerpoint or DVD). However, the differences in power consumption controlled by Toshiba Power Saver is not that great, maybe a difference of 10-15 minutes of battery life.

There is no need to get this laptop anymore, since it is old, and not an ideal candidate for Vista. Get a better model.
