Total Kill Wasp Hornet Killer By Kat Mitschke on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Total Kill Wasp & Hornet Killer is a very effect wasp and hornet killer. One of the reasons I like this product is the fact that the spray comes out in a foam form. There is no question if your spray has found its mark. While Ortho claims that Total Kill Wasp & Hornet Killer has a 20 foot range, I thought it was more like 15 feet. This still was enough distance in between me and insect. I was happy to see it does kill a wasp on contact. I have also used it on the very large tree roaches as well and it is effective on them also. One draw back of this product it if you accidentally spray it on a shrub or if the wind carries the spray onto a plant, it will damage the plant. Unfortunately I found this out the hard way. I still have to say this is a great product for anyone that has a wasp or hornet problem.

I hate yellow jackets almost as much as they hate me. None of these sprays reach the 2nd floor.

The spray only goes 12 feet at best. I measured the distrance and a brand new can barely reached a distance 16 feet off gound, and I held the can at 5 feet. I highly recommend the product, but use it with Spray Close Spray Extender to reach the nest.
