Tour of Duty was before" Band of Brothers." The first tv series about the Vietnam War. Its about a single platoon of young U.S. soldiers during their one year tour of combat duty in the 1960s. They learn to depend on each other even though they have to overlook diverse racial,cultural and philosophical backgrounds. Other than the thrilling combat actions Tour of Duty portays the dramatic human side of war and what this group of men did for their country. The set includes 5 dvd's and is approx.1003 minutes long and in color.
We enjoyed this tv series alot,and even though we are at war now,I believe this set of dvd's is worth the money .

I remember this show with Terrence Knox I believe! It was pretty good!
I remember flipping through the channels and seeing this show on TNT as I think they were having a marathon showing the Tour of Duty Show for several hours. I knew it was an old show because I had not heard of it being recent or new. I was too young to know about this show when it was new but watching it on TNT for that short while the show was very good.
