Toyota Camry Solara Convertible By Tony on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I test drove the Totyota Camry Solara Convertible. The model was the SE V6 version. This is a two door coupe and has a standard convertible top. The car had a 3.3 liter engine and has some kick to it.

The body of the car is very attractive in my opinion. It mirrors that of the standard Solara and the convertible top adds tot he sportiness of the vehicle. The interior is roomy, in fact I would compare it to that of a 4 door sedan, although the back seat is a little smaller and it feels smaller, due to the two doors.

Perfromance wise, the car drive well. It is smooth and the engine is pretty responsive. I would definitely get the V6 version of this car.

The convertible was very easy to operate and simply requires a couple of latches and the touch of a button. As far as convertibles go, pretty standard and easy to use.

If you live in the right climate, where you'd get use out of a convertible, I'd say this is a model to look at.

I am a harsh critic. I am honest and straight to the point. If I really like something, I will......
