Toyota Tercel A Cheap Reliable Way To Travel By joeljja on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought a used 97 toyota tercel in 2004. Since then I have been nothing but impressed with the car overall. When I bought the car the two things that I was looking for was reliability and gas milage. This car was the perfect fit in both of these areas. A tank of gas which holds about 40 liters lasts me about 550 km doing city driving and between 600 and 650 km of driving on the highway. I have even once gotten my car over 700km on a 40L tank. The car's reliability has also been incredible. I can be sure that every morning in the cold winters of Canada the car will start. I do not have a block heater for the car but i have started it in up to -35C. As well I have spent in the last 4.5 yrs a total of $0 other than regular oil changes on the car. I would recomend this car to anyone who is on a tight budget that travels a lot and needs something that will consistantly get them from point A to B at a low cost.
