Tracfone By uaezarb on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have had Tracfone service for over 5 years and am very satisfied with the service. I only use my phone occasionally so I had to find a cell phone that wasn't going to cost a lot. I like the tracfone because I only buy the amount of time I want and am not locked into a contract. As long as I continue to add minutes before the service date ends, the minutes carryover. There is a wide range of minutes you can buy. A 60, 120 or 200 minute card is good for 90 days service or you can buy a 400 minute card that has service for one year. I have also bought the double minutes for life one year card that gives you 800 minutes and doubles your minutes with every card you buy after that for life. I have had very few connection problems, so it is a dependable phone that can be used anywhere.

Interesting. My girlfriend has been thinking of buying a Tracfone for her son for a while, but we don't know any one that had any real-life experience with one. Thanks very much for sharing your opinion.

This is what our youngest son is on for now, he doesnt need it for anything more than emergencies or when we travel or go to a crowded place, these are great.
