Trac Fone Can Keep You In Touch By Bobbi Mckenney on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My husband and I use our cell phone as our regular land line. So now that 3 of our children are Abel to stay at home by themselves we decided to get a prepaid phone to leave here with them so that we can get ahold of them and vice a versa. We decided to go with an TracFone. I purchased this particular one at Fred Meyers and paid 14.99 for the phone. I bought and 120 minuet airtime card to put on it which was 29.99. If all the minuets are not used they carry over to the next month and you use 1 "unit" for every minuet that you talk on the phone. We had previous experience with TracFone and really liked it. It is a great way to go if you don not want to have 2 contracts with your Carrier like us. The phones that TracFone offers seem to be good and durable. The last one that we had with held a lot of abuse from my husband so we figured that it would do well for the kids!
TracFone Motorola V170 Purchased at: Fred Meyers Price: 14.99

We use our cell phones as land lines as well. Glad you found a phone that works great for your kids.
Nice looking phone and I like that the minutes roll over to the next month.
Harmony wants one. She is eight...but I refuse! I need 1 though!
