Trampoline By cukal6 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My sons have been asking for a trampoline for years, but I've always said that they were too young. Well, now that they're a little older and they have more energy than I can handle, I decided to get one. I searched around for the best prices and finally found this one. Of course I get it home and they want to jump right away. One problem, you have to put it together. The directions say it's a 2-3 person job so me and my 3 year old decided we were the 2 people. Surprisingly, we did it! So it was very easy to put together. He held the pieces while I screwed them together. I put the mat on with the springs by myself. I'm a little sore from stretching the mat but that's okay. It was worth it to see the looks on their faces when it was done.

It did take 3 of up to put the enclosure up but it still wasn't too difficult. It's at least 6' high and is kind of sewn on the to trampoline so there's no way they can fall out. There is a very small door to get on the trampoline and I always zip it when they get in so I feel that it's very safe for them.

My husband was very worried about the safety of trampolines but he also feels that as long as they are careful, it's really a good purchase for us.

Funny how you and your three year old decided you were the 2 people to put it together. I guess the instructions should have said 1 1/2 people :) I think this sounds safe with the netting and love the fact that the door to exit is zipped up. I hope you and your family have many years of enjoyment from your new trampoline!

We had our trampoline for years! I think they are great to have if you use them safely. I am glad to hear it survived a tornado! Did the tornado move it a bit though?

I have also had safety issues with trampolines. This one must be very durable if it survived a tornado, thanks for the info on how easy this is to put together and how safe it is.

Well if it survived a tornado you and your 3 year old sure did one heck of a job putting it together! Sounds like a durable product. Hope they are enjoying it and jumping away!

Trampolines have a lot more safety features now than when I was a kid. I'm sure your kids are happy that they got their trampoline!

I'm so glad for the safety features. Our homeowner's insurance made us get rid of our trampoline! Luckily, they had pretty much outgrown it by this time. It is a wonderful form of exercise.

We have an very old trampoline that is just sitting in the garage. I think now that we have a son, we should buy a new and safer one. This sounds like a great trampoline and a great price. I can't believe it survived a tornado!
