With my new laptop, I was offered by the dealer a Transcend JetFlash V30 1GB USB flash drive, as a gift. Like everyone else I love gifts! So, I accepted it happily. Already I have two USB flash drives manufactured by two different companies. But after using it for more than one month, I started to see the difference in terms of performance. In fact I started to believe that it is far better than my previous two flash drives.

How you gonna judge a flash drive? I am sure that you will give more importance to the speed, than the price or the look. And your judgment will depend on the nature of tasks you perform with your flash drive. I use my flash drives to transfer huge files from one computer to another. With this tiny flash drive I can easily transfer a 700MB file within 2 minutes. So, I will give it 5/5 in terms of speed.

What about the space? This is a 1GB model and for many tasks 1GB space may not be enough. So, I will give it 4.5/5. If I am not wrong, it will cost you hardly $10.

What else? Transcend JetFlash V30 1GB has a very slim body and I love it. It also comes bundled with some kind of software, with which I can password protect my files and even create backups. My previous two flash drives don't have any of these features. So, overall I will give 5/5 to this flash drive. What about you?
