This Transformers Movie T.E.C.H. Digital Dagger Phone is kind of a rip off and a lousy way to try and sell more toys.. This is a transformer and meant to go along with them and play together, but I think it is overpriced for what it is. It is a phone, as you can see, the buttons don't even press down or make any noise like most phones. The noise is not necessary but my son was disappointed when the buttons did not mash.
It then turns into a fighting a dagger. Well, all you do is pull one piece out to transform. Transformers are normally a bit more complex and do a bit more. It does make noise and a small part light up, but only when transforming.
I must say, my son, 5, likes this but I think it is an overpriced piece of junk. It is made a bit nicer then transformers as far as actual construction of it. For $15 this should do something more or just have more features. I got this for free when purchasing another toy, otherwise we would not have it. I think this is worth it for maybe about $5.

I don't quite get this toy. I know the transformer toys are supposed to transform into an action figure, but this just looks like a play phone. It turns into a dagger? Hmmm sorry it was disappointing but glad your son still finds it fun to play with. Overpriced toys that are movie themed is one of my pet peeves!
