Transformers. What happened to my childhood?

So yeah, new transfomers movie by Michael Bay.That means lots of explosions, car chases, and more explosions.How can they go wrong?By adding humans.I went into this movie with high hopes of awesomeness.I really wish they had done better casting.The main teenager is annoying and whinny.And of course opposite of him they cast an attractive girl just as eye candy.None of these having to do a thing with Transformers.Another thing to nitpick is Bubblebee is NOT a camero.He is a Beetle.There are plenty of little things I could go on about, but yeah.If you enjoyed transformers as a child, you will like this movie.If you worshipped it like I did, you will hate it.Its good in its own right that its an action movie in the middle of the summer, but other than that, don't go into it thinking its going to be the best interpretation of transformers ever.I did and was disappointed. The case on the other hand, being the target edition, came out as a fold out optimus prime.Very good for a huge fan like me.The bonus features include the usual commentary by directors, extended scenes, and featurettes about the making of.If you want a thrill ride, check it out, just don't expect much if you are a huge fan of the original.
