Trefl Banff National Park 1500 piece puzzle

This is one of the biggest and hardest puzzles I have been involved in putting together! My mom had received it as a gift shortly after discovering her love for puzzles. After several smaller ones, this 1500 piece project by Trefl was the challenge she wanted. As you can see from the photo, it is a nature scene, a beautiful picture of Banff National Park in Canada. I have not done very many jigsaw puzzles, but from what I know, nature scenes can be very difficult to put together - all those green leaves, shades & sunny spots, blue sky, water. Well, this puzzle has them all. Even mom, with her remarkable patience, found some of the spots a bit too hard to do and accepted my help. Both of us enjoyed working on the puzzle though. The completed puzzle looks so nice that we want to have it framed. I'll need to get some puzzle glue first to glue the pieces permanently together.
The pic looks beautiful! And I agree, nature and landscapes are very hard for me to put together. Great gift and I'm glad your mom enjoyed putting it together.
the puzzle looks beautiful but I can easily see how it would be challenging! It would take a lot of patience to do that puzzle! LOL
That is one huge puzzle!! I've never put together a 1500 piece puzzle before but would love the challenge! Beautiful picture!
I love jigsaw puzzles! Have done several that size, and they do make you want to keep them.
Agree with you that green leaves, shades & sunny spots, blue sky, water are difficult to put together, but I have one that is moonlight and water....very difficult indeed cos all the pieces looks alike .
puzzles are nice brain excercise game specially the one u ention with similar shades..water ..green etc but they are more fun to do
Congratulations on all the hard work! It's beautiful. Isn't Banff such a lovely place? I've only been once, but hubby and I intend to take a holiday there someday soon!
