Tremendous TimexTravel Radio

If this was just a radio, I would not have reviewed it and it would rate very poor. As a travel alarm clock radio it is world class product. I use it every day at home and on travel for over five years and have been looking for it replacement but I think they discontinued this excellent model. It was cheap, extremely reliable and functional, small about 2 X 2.5 X .75 inches, and uses two AAA batteries. It has a flip up display wake to buzz, or AM/FM radio stations. It has a backlight and has a snooze button. As a engineer, I can be a excellent not picker but I can not find a flaw with the design of this device. Most alarm clock radios are much larger to have the complete line of features. I think other than occastional wipe off the only maintenance I have done is replace the batteries about every two years. As a Timex it is extremly rugged and has survied with spills, shocks, vibrations, drops etc. and continues to function.
