Tresemme Curl Enhancing Mousse By Plum1585 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I tried this mousse after I bought the shampoo and conditioner in the same line. I thought, "Surely, with 3 products designed to work together to make my curls 'flawless,' they will be amazing!" They weren't. This mousse has the weaknesses of all cheap mousses - it is sticky, smells weird, and can't give the right amount of control. Though I apply it evenly, some spots get crunchy, and some spots are still frizzy. I have to "de-crunch" my hair by loosening each strand by hand.

I admit to having fallen prey to the advertising. You know the commercial, where the blonde friend is in the salon getting professionally curled, and her limp-haired brunette friend envies, until she tries Tresemme and has amazing curls! Then she flounces by the salon window, just to gloat about her inexpensive, professional results. Yeah, I wanted that to be me.

But it doesn't quite work that way. Congrats, Tresemme, your marketing team deserves every cent of my $4.
