In my new apartment there is a built in entertainment center kind of, it's hard to explain. On both sides of it though there are 3 cubby holes and I've been trying to come up with ideas of what to put in them. I wanted everything to be streamlined so it didn't look cluttered. After another trip to Ikea on Friday I decided to do a bunch of flowers and different sized vases in each cubby. My main colors that I picked were yellow, orange, and red.

These Salong vases are just one of a few different kinds of vases that I purchased. They had these available in red, white, opaque black, and a light gold color. I decided on the red as you can see, and each vase was different, some being darker, and others more see through. Each vase is mouth blown and shaped by a craftsman so each is very unique.

There were three different sizes available so I got a set of them. These little guys are going to find their home in one of my six cubbies. The smallest one which only stands about 3 inches was $4.99, the next is 7 3/4 inches for $6.99, and the tallest was about 12 inches for $8.99. I have yet to decide if I want to put fake flowers in these or leave them how they are.

Ikea is a great place to find very unique vases. Plus for each one being mouth blown by a individual artist, I think you are getting them for a GREAT price!
