Tropez Pressed Powder Makeup By Erica Williams on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Pros: Great coverage, cheap
Cons: Breaks out skin, irrates skin, hard to match color with natural skin tone
This makeup product comes in a tanned compact colored disk. When you open it, underneath the actual pressed powder is another department containing a make up sponge. The packaging was cheap. The disk fell apart after my second day of purchase.
I first applied my liquid makeup first (which is oil free). I then took the sponge and pressed the powder on lightly, making sure I didn't smudge my liquid foundation. The application was very easy and even. It didn't match perfectly with my natural skin tone, but it was barely noticable. After two hours, I noticed my face was very oily. I would try to dab a peice of tissue over it, only to find it back oily again~
When the day was over, I washed the makeup off of my face. I then noticed two blemishes on my right cheek! It was also red and blotchy. The pressed power was breaking out my face. I went three weeks without using the product, and my face cleared up.
I don't recommend this product to people with acne proned skin or sensitive skin. It also contains many harsh ingredients such as aluminum starch and zinc.
